This workshop prepares participants to present business-related context in a storytelling format in front of a public audience or cameras. Upon completion of the workshop, the participants are able to:

Communication Basics

  • use a proper language style adjusted to the relevant target audience.
  • utilize the power of silence in order to steer a stress-free communication.
  • communicate negative or embarrassing messages in a positive fashion.
  • communicate unambiguously in front of a camera.

Cultural Communication

  • adjust their communication based on the cultural characteristics of the person opposite.
  • avoid cultural no-go’s for their target audience.

Storytelling

  • list 3 different types of story models with 2 examples for each.
  • communicate a business-related matter in a story form.

Body Language

  • explain the impact of body language on the target audience.
  • self-evaluate their posture on camera and develop improvement actions.
  • implement supporting gestures and mimics to amplify the messages to be delivered.

This workshop equips them with important trainer skills and supports them in increasing the efficiency of the knowledge transfer of their topics. Upon completion of this workshop, the participants are able to:

  • prepare training information in accordance to different learner types.
  • handle various types of participants according to the pocket guide “Challenging Participants”.
  • hold training sessions and presentations confidently by using the pocket guide “Stage Fright“.
  • present training material by utilising PowerPoint, whiteboards and flipcharts as well as digital collaboration tools.
  • give and receive feedback in a constructive way.

During the workshop the participants will prepare and conduct short training sessions, which are video-taped. The video will be provided to the participants for self-reflection.

The DISTANCE LEADERSHIP TRAINING is aiming at managers and team leaders who are managing dispersed teams in various locations. Upon completion of the program the participants are able to:

  • list and explain 10 challenges of current and future leadership situations
  • name 4 risks concerning distance leadership and develop ideas to mitigate them
  • elaborate practical and implementable ideas for their leadership responsibility regarding distance leadership challenges 
  • select and utilise suitable and appropriate technologies and media for distance leadership and identify their personal competence gaps related to them

Presentations are a part of the daily business life, and yet many employees are not properly trained on preparing and giving presentations. This training contains the basics on presentations from an audience point of view and provides insights into proper body language and posture for successful presentations. Upon completion of this training, the participants will be able to:

  • prepare a 15-minute presentation on a given topic.
  • select and competently use proper presentation tools.
  • conduct a personal or virtual presentation.
  • self-reflect on their presentation performance in a personal or virtual presentation.
