Most personality tests are done and evaluated once and then disappear in a desk drawer never to see light again. The insights gained from the Birkman Method, however, are simple and easy to apply to the daily or weekly self-reflection. Just take any situation from your day or week and look at your Birkman values while reflecting on it. You will gain very straight-forward insights on your needs and reasons for stress.

I used to go crazy every time someone on a train was listening to his music too loudly. But why can I just not ignore this? A look at my Birkman values revealed a high interest in music. That does not only mean that I like music and that it is essential for my well-being, but also that no one is allowed to “pollute” my acoustic private space. Realizing this allowed me to develop effective countermeasures and reduce one stress area from my life.
